I preferred this product to the shampoo to be honest. I could feel the hair get softer as I used the product and it was certainly tangle free even as I stepped out of the shower.
It's a huge bottle, which may mean that the product starts building up on my hair over time, making it look dull and lifeless, but so far it hasn't.
I do find that my hair gets greasy again after only 2 days of using the product, which I find a little bit too short - 3 days is the mark of an outstanding product for me, but maybe my expectations are too high, since super shiny hair means I want to touch it, which makes it greasy!
I did like this product, and it's paraben free and organic, which isn't important to me but I know is a big draw card for others. I probably would buy it again.
Pros:really shiny soft hair, large container, paraben free and organic Cons:hair gets greasy a little bit too quickly
Now, now Sam... Let's be fair. The truth is Katee's love for this shampoo & conditioner is probably warranted, considering all she does is re-package the Yes, to Carrots products.
Just check out the ingredient listings from both companies.
I posted on other forums about this - Katee and her blatant shilling & now outright stealing has to be stopped.
Pros:If purchased from a retail under it's intended name of Yes, to Carrots - a nice product Cons:Katee illegally repackages this as her own product.
I have been using the Cucumber Aloe Cleansing Conditioner and I'm sold! I love the way it makes my hair feel. No traditional shampoo/conditioner/styling product combo has ever done what WEN has done for my hair. I know some people complain that it takes so long to use or is complicated, but it actually makes my shower go quicker. I don't have to shampoo then condition and wait. It's all in one step. I have no desire to use any of my regular shampoos/conditioners/leave-ins, etc. that are scatter around my bathroom. In fact I'm slowly getting rid of all these haircare products that I haven't used in forever because I don't want them anymore. WEN is helping my "hoarder disorder" in that way!
Pros:Conditions and cleans hair in one step, does not leave build up or weigh hair down. Cons:It is relatively expensive compared to other haircare products and you use more than you would traditional shampoo and conditioner.
$10? So cheap Katee? No it's not cheap when it leaves a horrible film on my hair and I have to use a harsh clarifier to get it out of my hair. It's supposed to condition my hair? Not quite when I have to use harsh shampoos to get the grime out of my hair. Definitely pass on this one!
No matter what type hair you have, I am virtually willing to guarantee that you'll fall in love with this conditioner. It is free of silicones and parabens which is hard to believe because it gives my hair awesome shine and slip. The list of ingredients borders toward mouth watering:
So, for $10 you can grab a conditioner that will tame and feed the wildest mane without weighing it down. Smells fantastic too.
As far as I know, the only place to grab this is from their website ( www.gobareskincare.com ) . Definitely worth checking out. I've yet to try a haircare product from these folks that I haven't loved!
This conditioner is packaged in a gold bottle for a reason! It is absolutely fabulous for your hair. Nanoworks Conditioner will soften your hair and especially if you get highlights and are feeling a bit fried out from the sun, this conditioner will protect your color as well as put the moisture right back into your hair.
Pros:leaves your hair feeling like gold, smells awesome, best conditioner (EVER) Cons:its a bit pricey...but it lasts forever and is soooo worth it!
This is a almost Gel like Conditioner which smells like pineapple. I love the smell even more since it's getting summer time. I actually thought I had accidentally put shampoo in my hair because it foamed a little. It made my hair really soft along with the shampoo. It controlled the frizz and made it fairly straight without having to use heat! I will buy this again!! Just for reference I have short, thick, wavy, frizzy hair. I got this in a set with the 25oz. shampoo for $21.00
Pros:Great smell, made my hair frizz free, and fairly straight Cons:
I love this masque along with the Soy milk S&C. I wouldn't say it smells just like a pumpkin pie, but it does smell pumpkin like. It makes my hair feel so soft and smooth. I have tried out several mask for my dry frizzy thick hair and none of them works as well as this one. I would buy this again and again if I can find it.
Pros:Makes my hair soft and smooth, smells good. Cons:It's hard for me to find
This conditioner is Excellent. I use it with the shampoo and it makes my thick, frizzy hair soft and smooth. The smell is Great!! This looks like it's going to be my HG. I reach for this over any other S&C. I can't find this where I live, but I did buy 2 small bottles and a liter of it because I know I can't find it any more. I would buy this over and over as long as I can find it!
Pros:Makes hair soft and smooth Cons:It's hard for me to find.
I tried this along with the shampoo and my hair ended up fuzzy. I'm not sure if the conditioner would be better by itself or not. I plan to use up what I haave left, but I don't think I will buy it again. I got it for $10.00 a liter which came with a pump so the price is great! I prefer their cashmere to this, which I also reviewed.
First off my hair is very thick, frizzy, dry, and color treated so I need moisture and smoothness. This conditioner gives me all of that. It makes it silky smooth and soft. It does contain protein, but it doesn't bother me. The smell is very strong and last from shampoo to conditioner, it's very floral. The liter bottle comes with a pump which I really love! They often have them in the 2 for sales, but the price is still really good for the quality. I would recommend this conditioner to anyone who needs moisture and smoothness. I will buy this again and again unless they stop making it!!
Pros:Works great Cons:Could be the strong smell and price for some but it doesn't bother me.
This is a Excellent conditioner!! I use it along with the shampoo and it makes my hair shine so much. I have color treated hair and this makes it very soft and smooth. Since I started using Self Absorbed my dh has started using it. He always said that Suave was as good as anything else, but since he started using this it is all he'll use. I think this may be my HG!! I would suggest that everyone try this brand!!! I got this in a 23oz bottle with a 23oz shampoo and some after party for $19.95 that was a Excellent Deal!!!
Pros:Makes your hair smooth, soft, and shiny Cons:none that I can think of
This made my hair smooth and frizz free. I'm not crazy about the smell but it could be worse. I've never tried matrix so I can't say how it compares. For the price I would buy it again.
next to the BEST SHAMPOO this is the BEST CONDITIONER especially if used with the shampoo,it works great for styling i go to the Fredric Fekkai salon and this is what they use before they style my hair and it works wonders!!!
Pros:works wonders
great for styling
smells great and also an enjoyment to use! Cons:none!
This is expensive but it lasts so long, I feel it is MORE than worth it! And if you order the large size on Sephora when they have no shipping chrage, well, all the better. This is better than B & B , Aveda, all of them. Love it
Always looking for help to keep my red hair vibrant between colorings, I thought I would try this line. The shampoo and conditioner made my hair feel soft and well-conditioned, and the color depositing was fine (if a bit weak). But I hated the packaging and the smell! The smell is intensely floral perfume, almost obnoxious. And the glass containers, while cute, are not a brilliant idea for use in a bathtub! Seems a bit dangerous, particularly for more clumsy bathers like me.
Pros:Condintioning fine. Mild color deposit. Cons:Perfume-y smell and glass container. Pricey for its level of color deposit.
