This came free with my Bourjois Easy Waterproof Mascara and it is a very nice pencil liner. It´s very soft and waterproof. I haven´t really tested it for a long period, but I believe it doesn´t come off easily. It´s metallic, but the shimmers are very discrete, I find that nice because it´s ok to wear daytime also.
I have the need for waterproof mascara because I go to the gym with it still on, and I absolutely hate endind up with that black residue under my eye, and I need it to stay on the whole day no matter what happens. What I generally don´t like about waterproof mascara is the time and effort you put on to remove it. I previously used L´oreal Telescopic Waterproof which is very hard to remove with my silicone based two-phased remover. This claims to be waterproof and easy to remove with non-waterproof makeup remover. I find that it is somewhat goopy and clumpy, but that´s probably because I´m not used to volumizing mascara, and I end up having to remove the excess, which is sort of time consuming. I found out that it doesn´t come off with my regular remover, but it comes off easily with the waterproof remover. I said that I wouldn´t buy it again, not because I don´t like it, but probably because I´d like to try something else, and I certainly like it best than my L´oreal Telescopic.
Pros:really waterproof and long staying, does not build up under the eye Cons:doesn´t do exactly what it claims
A nice blush! The colour works very nicely with pale skin although if used too heavily you can look like a cross between Coco the clown and a spooky pot doll!
I love the little pot and the little brush that comes with it. Very handy and a great idea. I prefer the packaging a lot more compared to my other blushers. Nice texture, just the right amout of shimmer and stays on very well!
I will definatley be buying this blush again! The only reason I've given it 4/5 instead of 5/5 is because I really don't like the smell. I think it's just a personal preferance because my friend said she doesn't mind the smell however I found it quite weird that the blush was scented and the smell really didn't do it for me. It's a sweet kind of vanilla smell which I can see some people liking but not me. But I won't let it put me off this blush! I'll just have to get used to it!
Pros:Great color, shimmer, handy packaging, has its own brush, stays on all day, lovely texture. Cons:Sweet smell.
I love this lipgloss! It's quite a light pink colour and it's very glossy. It looks a lot darker through the tube than it actually is when you put it on. I think my lips look plumper when I put it on & I love the brush applictor!
Pros:Brush applicator, lasting power, colour, glossiness, not sticky. Cons:none!
Bourjois has recently returned to Australia after being discontinued some time ago.
This is the first product that I've tried from them.
Talons Aiguilles is a lengthening mascara. This mascara gives me length, slight volumn and helps to curl my lashes. *Note - I don't use an eye lash curler. When I apply my mascara, I press my lashes back with the mascaa wand to help them curl and this works for me * Clumping isn't really a problem with this mascara.
Pros:Gives length, slight volumn, helps to curl. No clumping. Nice long brush head. Cons:None that I can think of.
This is a super thick mascara so I always have to wipe off the excess on sides or a tissue paper - or it clumps majorly for me. I usually always have to use a mascara seperating comb after because lashes stick together - but once I can straighten them out the mascara looks good.
Pros:lengthens lashes (volume), looks cute :) Cons:sometimes makes lashes clumpy, have to always wipe off excess before applying.
This mascara did not really give me the sexy wet look, and was not glossy over mascara or without it. It moreso containted a lot of glitter that I don't find particularly sexy. On the plus side it stayed on all day, and it did impart a bluish sheen. Overall just an average product to me.
I have several Bourjois mascaras and bought this as I was looking for one that was really black (plus I liked the shape of the tube - kind of curvy!). At first I really liked this, the colour was great (quite intense) and my lashes looked quite glamourous and definately looked thicker, but with just one coat it was suitable for the daytime too. However, I've only had this about 3 weeks now and it's started to clump and flake off when I'm wearing it, which I really don't expect this quickly. I always made sure it was done up tightly so I'm not really sure why this has happened, maybe it was just a bad tube. I've given this an overall rating if 3 as it was a really good mascacra at first. Maybe others will have more luck with it than I did.
Pros:Good colour, lashes looked quite glamourous. Cons:Started to clump and flake shortly after purchase.
my favorite eye pencil. it goes smooth on the lid, and the colors are really nice. bleu original is a great turquoise. it tends to smudge by the end of the day, but it still has a good staying power. if you're looking for a cheap (well, it's cheap for me) eyepencil, this is definitely for you.
Pros:the overall quality for a drugstore product Cons:shame for the us prices !
it comes in a transparent packaging, allowing you directly to admire how pretty your shadow is. and mine is surely, wow ! it is a very pale pink, shimmery, with a lot of gold undertones. it doesn't stay long without a base, and tends to fall on your cheeks. this is however a good color to have in one's makeup bag. it adds a lot of pop to your eyelook, perfect for a long night !
i don't like the brush, it's too harsh for my skin, and takes too much powder on.
Pros:"suivez mon regard" is self explanatory, come on, follow me ! Cons:takes a bit of practise to be correctly applied
Bourjois is a french drugstore brand so it's pretty easy to find when i go shopping. the first thing you notice is the cute little packaging. it's solid, even a bit hard to open when it's new. it contains a little sponge applicator, alas useless.
now, the eyeshadow iself : it's pretty, shimmery, satin or matte, and comes in a lot of shades. the eyeshadow goes on smooth if applied with a brush, and has a good staying power without a base. it's not as pigmented as a Mac or Urban Decay, obviously, but it's a good deal for a lower brand. the trick is to apply it wet, it increases its staying power and reveals all its color.
Pros:they last long
you can find one suitable for you in all the range available Cons:beside the LE, they often change their colors, so you can get yours discontinued easily.
They advertise this as giving a false lash effect and it really does. It's a two-phase mascara with a white coat to lengthen and a coloured coat that thickens. After using this my lashes were stupendously, ridiculously long and really did look like falsies, but in a good way. Not an everyday product but great for a bit of evening glamour.
Pros:Does exactly what it claims to do, the most lengthening mascara I've ever come across Cons:A little over-the-top, but then that's not always a bad thing
These are a classic; beautiful shimmery eyeshadows, easy to apply and blend. The white shadow, blanc diaphane, is my go-to easy highlighter, great for brightening up the eyes.
Pros:Cute product-coloured packaging, inexpensive Cons:The little applicator in there isn't much use, but I use brushes for eyeshadow anyway
I purchased this on the advice of the salesgirl raving about it so. I can't say that I was disappointed too much though I definitely wouldn't repurchase or recommend, not for the price. IMO no better than Maybelline's XXL or LOreal's Volumious and not quite as good a Loreal's Lash Architect all priced lower. And if you're into dept store mascaras in no way IMO does it compare to Lancome or DiorShow
Pros:The primer is pretty good and patience allows you to build really long lashes Cons:The mascara formula itself is rather average at best and contributes very little to the duo
I was so excited when I came home with my Coup de Theatre mascara. I would have knock-out lashes, which I could flutter at all the cute guys while not fooling with false lashes. The packaging was cool, it came with a primer, and it didn't break the bank. The primer was nice - I could see my lashes extending. The mascara went over the primer easily, and my lashes were long, but not very thick. The worst part about this product was its tendency to run on me. I continued to use it, hoping I would find the magic touch, but by the end of each day I would have black bags under my eyes. Eeeek! Sadly, I banished this mascara to my no-use bag which it has not returned from since.
Pros:long lashes, neat packaging Cons:runs, not very thick
Pump up the Volume Mascara------ LOVE IT. In fact - for cheap mascara you cannot get better than Bourjois.......the line (one of the oldest int the world...created in 1863) is about the equivalent to Wet-n-Wild here in America. LOL. The silicone in the mascara itself helps boost the "weight" of your lashes--much like a push-up bra does for the boobs.....I cannot say enough about it--- the only con to it is it can dry out quickly ...especially if you "Pump" the wand into the mascara forcing in air...BAD BARBIE! Of all waterproof mascaras on our planet---Bourjois is the only waterproof I would EVER use---- if I had to do a swim meet....otherwise screw waterproof ....... it sucks for the lashes at removal time and is a big pain in the ass. ;)
Pros:Jacks your lashes to tarantula-leg size with a quickness.......and it is cheap-cheap-cheap! Cons:The Dryout from all the "Pumping" --of the wand that is ...ROLL THE WAND THERE, GAL!
